Expanding and growing vision on a new scale.
In May I was invited to be a part of something new for me. Something big, stretching and exciting. The Send is a broad missions movement made up of mostly YWAM staff that run massive stadium events with the purpose of activating Christians to get involved in missions. Unlike YWAM which is focused on reaching the nations, The Send calls young people to any and all mission fields... anything from reaching your local school, helping children in need, to joining a number of other missions organizations(including YWAM).
Using my experience in media and communications I am on the team that focuses on how to see more people really take action... using follow up, phone calls and tons of resources to make it easier for people to respond to God's calling on their life. Working at this scale has been a little crazy and stretching for me but I'm so excited to see what God has done and will do with The Send in the future.
Over 270,000 people tuned in online or in person for the all day event and over 17,000 mission action decisions were made. Check out the video below for more!
