Over the past 2 years I have had the immense privilege of working with The Send remotely and on site at various events and trainings. From 2023 to 2024 we ran 4 main events in Arenas in 4 cities: Reading, Pennsylvania - Boston, Massachusetts - Grand Rapids, Michigan - Nashville, Tennessee.
For the past 12 Years we have been serving Youth With a Mission, YWAM, here locally in Mexico, firstly Mazatlan, then Tijuana and around the world. In 2022 I was given the opportunity to serve The Send as well. The Send is made of a majority of YWAMer's working in teams around the world as well as remotely.
Our goal with The Send is to fill arenas and stadiums calling people to take action, to share the gospel in their local community, in their high school, in their university, calling people to foster and adopt children and also support families with this calling, and furthermore calling individuals to go to the nations!
I continue to serve YWAM globally and am so excited to have this opportunity serving The Send to call more into missions... The Harvest is plenty but the workers are few!
My specific role covers a few crucial behind the scenes areas. My main focus is working with the team that makes sure that those who take action in the stadium or arena are connected in the best way possible to the various missions opportunities around the world. We contact them via phone and email and make sure that their process of learning about missions, and learning what it takes to go to another nation, is as easy as possible. I also manage and serve in our event registration system and fundraising platforms.
In summary we are a part of calling people into missions and connecting them to ministries in a realistic and achievable way!
